Legacy has established mobile medical services to reach the most at-risk individuals in D.R. Congo.
Many individuals in Eastern D.R. Congo have treatable sicknesses and diseases. Yet, many have lost family members due to untreated, curable sicknesses such as typhoid fever, malaria and other infections. We believe that people should have access to basic healthcare.
Legacy has partnered with indigenous medical personnel to provide basic medical care for women and children living in our safe-home compound in D.R. Congo as well as the surrounding families.
